Artist's notes:

These are original paintings done primarily in watercolor, but some also include gouache, an opaque water-based paint.  They are done on either Strathmore 500 Series high finish bristol board or 140 lb. Arches hot pressed watercolor paper. 

As you can see, my work covers a broad range of subject matter.  I cherish the freedom to paint whatever I feel communicates the beauty of God’s incredible creation in all of its many facets.  I resist attempts by others to label me as a portrait painter, dune painter, rural painter, or anything else.  Creative freedom is central to what I do.
