Artist's notes:
The first seven posters, Michigan City, Millennium Plaza and Old Lighthouse Museum, International Port of Indiana, International Friendship Gardens, Michigan City Historic Preservation, Challenger Learning Center, and Calumet College of St. Joseph are part of a series of new posters which are a revival of the original series done in the 1920s. The South Shore is the last electric interurban railroad in the U.S. It runs between South Bend, Indiana and Chicago. This new series is facilitated by the Northwest Indiana Forum.
International Friendship Gardens in Michigan City, Indiana was established in 1934. It flourished until the early 1970s and is currently being restored to it’s original breathtaking grandeur.
Beachwalk is an award winning residential community in Sheridan Beach, Indiana. Beachwalk reflects the philosophy that what is important is not just the beauty of the architecture but the quality of life it offers.
Maison des Fleurs is a charming bed & breakfast inn located at 8th and Washington Streets in the heart of historic Michigan City, Indiana.
The dune poster is part of a series sponsored by the Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce.
