Artist's notes:
The seven posters in the South Shore Line poster series are part of a series of new posters created as a revival of the original series done in the 1920s. The South Shore Line is the last electric interurban railroad in the U.S. It runs between Chicago, Illinois, and South Bend, Indiana. This new series is sponsored by the Northwest Indiana Forum.
International Friendship Gardens in Michigan City, Indiana, was established in 1934. The gardens flourished until the early 1970s, and they are currently being restored to their original breathtaking grandeur.
Beachwalk is an award winning residential community in Sheridan Beach, Indiana. Beachwalk reflects the philosophy that what is important is not just the beauty of the architecture but the quality of life it offers.
Maison des Fleurs is a charming bed & breakfast inn located at 8th and Washington Streets in the heart of historic Michigan City, Indiana.
The dune poster is part of a series sponsored by the Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce.
